I always tell my couples when helping them with their budgets that there are a few factors that I cannot predict, here they are.
The Dress (when you find the perfect one the price tag seldom matters)
Photographer/Videographer (their work is art to them they price accordingly in our area I would say the average is $2500)
Rings
Invitations they can really go from one extreme to the other
In the categories that I can offer a direct comparison to here are our average prices
DJ
Our DJ's who will keep your party going costs between $900.00and $1500 this includes the ceremony, dinner music and dance.
Flowers
The florists on our preferred list average between $1500-2500
Gifts & Favors
I would skip favors nobody takes them home save the $$
Planner/ Coordinator
Day of included with your venue price.
Venue/Catering/Rental
Grain bin bridal suite is included in your venue price.
Rehearsal Dinner $300
Venue Accessories included.
Venue Bar Service $2250 (3 complimentary drinks (rail liquor) @ $5.00 per person x 150) and that's only if you do open bar, we do not require it.
Catering Service (our top choice are on average $18.00 per person x150+ $2700
Venue Location $5500(up to the first 150 people)
OUR PRICE WITH OUR PREFERRED VENDORS IS.... $14,750 For a savings of $15,750
So, to sum it all up with our venue and with those categories I didn't include (dress, photographer etc.) you should be able to have a beautiful wedding under $15,000 which is $15,750 less than the national average!
