About Us

Our Beautiful Property

Our venue is a one of a kind property where rustic and elegant meet.  When entering our property your guests will drive over our private bridge lined by a lovely shade garden. We are a 45 acre working hobby farm with cows and chickens, located  less than two miles from our local hotel making lodging accommodations easy for your guests.  No winding back roads  to drive after a long day.   Not only do we have beautiful hay fields, we also have 1200 feet of lake frontage.  There are two creeks that border both ends of our property for great photo opportunities along with our private bridge.  Although we are with in the city limits your truly have that out of town feeling.  Far enough away from the city to make us your destination gathering, but yet close enough to make it all a one day excursion.

If you are dreaming of a winter wonderland for your special day we are happy to announce winter weddings for 2018.  Heat has been added to keep your guests comfortable while you say your "I Do's"  We are able to seat 200 people comfortably for winter events.  If you have questions please call 715-461-5397

Why Choose Us For Your Event?

We know that there are several venues out there that you have to choose from, what makes us stand out?  Our price is our price.. you will not go through the contract after we meet and find lots of "extras" that have price tags attached to them.  When you leave your first appointment you know exactly what services we provide and how much it is going to cost.  We do our best to keep you in your budget.  Other venues charge for things like dishes, chairs, and linens or number of guests.  We do not!  Our venue is a one stop shop providing linens, silverware, tables and chairs, fully licensed bar. Heidi will do her best to make sure your day goes off with out a hitch, she is onsite the day of your event and if not able to be there we have exceptionally qualified staff that will be able to answer all your questions and concerns.  


Some questions to ask when looking at venues...


1. Are there kitchen facilities available for my caterer to use?

2. How long will I have the event space?

3. If it rains can my ceremony be held inside?

4. Are you handicap accessible?

5. Do I have to use one of your vendors?

6. What is the venue fee?



Another thing you might notice on our Vendor page most of the vendors are all small business not unlike our own.  We believe in promoting small business and as much local business as we can.  I assure you the quality of these places is amazing!


The Barn at Mirror Lake will do everything we can to make sure your event is nothing short of spectacular.

Wedding Packages

 Wedding Spectacular

 

The wedding spectacular includes the following :

  • Use of the venue from Friday at noon, all day Saturday until 11 p.m. and until Sunday at noon to gather your things. 
  • Tables/Chairs for 250 (we can do several different seating arrangements so if less is needed we will remove)
  • Full catering kitchen
  • Indoor handicap accessible bathrooms
  • An eclectic mix of china dishes and silverware no need to rent!
  • Table linens
  • Bartenders
  • Onsite parking for your guests with parking attendants.

Rehearsal dinners held her are $150.00 an hour to cover the cost of clean up and staffing.  You are more than welcome to hold your rehearsal here at no additional charge.


Elopement package


(available Thursday, Friday night and Sunday afternoon guest maximum of 75)

Not looking to have a huge affair?  Let us cater to your smaller needs.  

The elopement package includes use of the full facility (after all it is still your special day!) 

  • Tables and Chairs
  • Table linens
  • Full catering kitchen
  • Indoor handicap accessible bathrooms
  • An eclectic mix of china dishes and silverware no need to rent!
  • Bartenders
  • Table linens
  • Onsite parking for your guests

* Elopement packages can only be used on the weekends if no other wedding is planned with the exception of Sunday afternoon.

Family Reunions, Graduations and Other Gatherings

Not only do we host weddings, but we love to hold gatherings of all of life's other events.  Some of our favorites are corporate events, graduation parties, family reunions, baby and bridal showers.


For these events, you will have use of the barn, kitchen, and bathrooms. Along with plenty of wide open space to play!


Event Pricing:


  • Our small event booking price is $150.00 an hour for 75 guests or less
  • $200.00 an hour for 200 guests or less minimum of three hours
  • An all day Sunday event (11-6p.m.)  $800.00 

These can be held during the week or Sunday afternoons (We generally reserve all day Saturday for our brides to be)


If you are hosting a large event and would like to book a Saturday that we do not have a wedding booked the cost is $3,000 dollars, we can only reserve these days two to three months in advance.


Services available for your event are:

  • Bartender (we have a full liquor license all beverages must be purchased through us)
  • Kitchen facility (YOU are responsible for the clean up)
  • Tables/Chairs and Linens
  • Dishes (also responsible for clean up)
