About Us
Ron and Heidi Keys
Ron and Heidi are the owners of The Barn at Mirror lake, we have been married for 15 years and never did we dream we would own a venue. Between us we have 6 kids ranging in age from 14-35 a his, hers and ours story. We are also the parents to several furry four legged. Ron is a full-time teacher at the University of Eau Claire and Chippewa Valley Technical college. He is also in charge of keeping everything in working order on the farm and does a dish or two in our prep kitchen. Heidi takes the lead on all things wedding; she takes care of your day of coordination and is available for all your questions throughout your planning process.
Our History
Since The Barn at Mirror Lake opened its doors in 2018, we have hosted countless memorable events for our clients. Our goal is to continue being the premier event venue space in the region for years to come. Our wedding venue is a one of a kind property where rustic and elegant meet. We are a 45-acre working hobby farm with cows and chickens that defiantly keep your guests entertained. Hotels and Airbnb's located less than two miles from our venue making lodging accommodations easy for your guests. No winding back roads to drive after a long day. Not only do we have beautiful fields, but we also have 1200 feet of lake frontage. There are two creeks that border both ends of our property for great photo opportunities along with our private bridge. Although we are within the city limits you truly have that out-of-town feeling. Far enough away from the city to make us your destination gathering, but yet close enough to make it all a one-day excursion.

Weddings
Included in your special day
All our wedding packages include the following (after all it is a once in a lifetime event!)
- Use of the venue from Friday from 4-7 all day Saturday until 11 p.m. and until Sunday at ten to gather your things.
- Ceremony
- Wedding Coordinator weekend of event
- Tables/Chairs for 225
- Full catering kitchen
- Indoor handicap accessible bathrooms
- An eclectic mix of china dishes and silverware no need to rent!
- Table linens
- Bartenders
- Onsite parking for your guests
Rehearsal dinners held here are $300 to cover the cost of clean up and staffing. You are more than welcome to hold your rehearsal here at no additional charge.
All our pricing is determined on your guest count please call/email for our price.
Family Reunions, Graduations and Other Gatherings
Not only do we host weddings, but we love to hold gatherings of all of life's other events. Some of our favorites are corporate events, graduation parties, family reunions, baby and bridal showers.
For these events, you will have use of the barn, kitchen, and bathrooms. Along with plenty of wide open space to play!
Event Pricing:
This is small event pricing only please call for wedding pricing!
- Our small event booking price is $300.00an hour
- These can be held during the week or Sunday afternoons (We generally reserve all day Saturday for our brides to be)
If you are hosting a large event and would like to book a Saturday that we do not have a wedding booked the cost is $3,000 dollars, we can only reserve these days two to three months in advance.
Services available for your event are:
- Bartender (we have a full liquor license all beverages must be purchased through us)
- Kitchen facility (YOU are responsible for the cleanup)
- Tables/Chairs and Linens
- Dishes
