Ron and Heidi Keys
Hello! We’re Ron and Heidi, the owners of The Barn at Mirror Lake. We’ve been married for 16 wonderful years, and while we never imagined we'd one day own a wedding venue, here we are, living out a dream. Between us, we have six amazing kids, ranging in age from 14 to 35—our family is truly a "his, hers, and ours" story. We also share our home with several lovable, furry, four-legged friends who add a little extra joy to our lives.
Ron wears many hats—when he’s not teaching at the University of Eau Claire or Chippewa Valley Technical College, he’s working hard to keep everything on the farm running smoothly and even helping out in the kitchen (he’s not afraid to do the dishes!). Heidi is your go-to for all things wedding-related. From your first inquiry to the big day itself, she’ll guide you through the process, answer your questions, and handle the day-of coordination, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch.

Our History
Welcome to The Barn at Mirror Lake
Since opening our doors in 2018, The Barn at Mirror Lake has proudly hosted countless memorable events, from breathtaking weddings to unforgettable celebrations. Our mission is to continue being the premier event venue in the region, providing an enchanting setting for your special day.
Nestled on 45 acres of stunning countryside, our venue is where rustic charm meets timeless elegance. As a working hobby farm, the presence of cows and chickens adds a unique touch, often delighting guests and making for an entertaining experience.
We offer seamless convenience with hotels and Airbnbs located just two miles away, so your guests won't need to navigate winding roads after a long celebration. The accessibility of our location, combined with the tranquility of our surroundings, creates the perfect blend of getaway and ease.
Not only does our venue boast expansive fields, but we also feature 1,200 feet of scenic lakefront. Two picturesque creeks border the property, and our private bridge makes for an idyllic photo backdrop. Though we are within city limits, you’ll feel as though you’ve escaped to a serene countryside retreat—just far enough to provide a true destination experience, yet close enough to enjoy it all in a single day.

Weddings
Included in your special day
All our wedding packages include the following (after all it is a once in a lifetime event!)
- Use of the venue from Friday from 4-7 all day Saturday until 11 p.m. and until Sunday at ten to gather your things.
- Ceremony
- Wedding Coordinator weekend of event
- Tables/Chairs for 225
- Full catering kitchen
- Indoor handicap accessible bathrooms
- An eclectic mix of china dishes and silverware no need to rent!
- Table linens
- Bartenders
- Onsite parking for your guests
Rehearsal dinners held here are $300 to cover the cost of clean up and staffing. You are more than welcome to hold your rehearsal here at no additional charge.
All our pricing is determined on your guest count please call/email for our price.
Family Reunions, Graduations and Other Gatherings
Not only do we host weddings, but we love to hold gatherings of all of life's other events. Some of our favorites are corporate events, graduation parties, family reunions, baby and bridal showers.
For these events, you will have use of the barn, kitchen, and bathrooms. Along with plenty of wide open space to play!
Event Pricing:
This is small event pricing only please call for wedding pricing!
- Our small event booking price is $300.00an hour
- These can be held during the week or Sunday afternoons (We generally reserve all day Saturday for our brides to be)
If you are hosting a large event and would like to book a Saturday that we do not have a wedding booked the cost is $3,000 dollars, we can only reserve these days two to three months in advance.
Services available for your event are:
- Bartender (we have a full liquor license all beverages must be purchased through us)
- Kitchen facility (YOU are responsible for the cleanup)
- Tables/Chairs and Linens
- Dishes
